1:19 am	NEWS FLASH!!! Wehadababyitsaboy! So tonite was a best of a bad situation. at about 9pm Aly started bleeding and feeling like she was having contractions, so we rushed her to the hospital (which luckily is only about 6 miles away). We were admitted about 930pm. by 945pm the doctor decides the best thing to do is to have an emergency C-Section. ( we were at 34 weeks to the day) they were concerned that her placenta was beginning to separate fron the uterus wall. So by 10pm they wheeled her into the OR, and a few minutes later I am the proud papa of a brand new 5 lbs 2 oz, 17 inch little boy. He has been placed into NIC(natal intensive care) but he looks good, just a little small. The placeta had separated and the doctor said that a half hour later could have been serious or even fatal. So someone was looking down on us and i thank him for it. This came at such a surprise to us all, we dont even have our baby shower for another 2 weeks. we just hope we can take him home by then, but we'll just have to see how everything goes. 12:36 am	Ice Skating Well tonight we decided to do something fun and different for the kids. We took them to the Ice Forum to try their hand at Ice Skating. They all know how to rollerblade so it wasn't too difficult for them to pick it up. It was all of ours first time on the ice, it was rather fun and something that we will probably have to do again. 1:59 am	10-Year Reunion Went to my 10-Year Class Runnion tonight. It was nice to see people from back in the day. Too bad no one I was really close to showed up, but that didn't surprise me. It was nice to see that some people acctually remembered me, and that most everyone there was doing pretty good. Afterwards me and Aly met up with some friends from her work and went to this new club up here called Encore (www.atlencore.com). I've never really been the "club" type but it was fun. 4:58 pm	All I want to do is get rid of this damn stuffy nose OMGWTF, ok I know Amy has this problem but i didn't realize it was this bad. I tried some of that new Sudafed PE for nasal decongestion, it really sucks and it just does not work. So I went to the counter to get some real Sudafed. ok whatever I can understand the limit to how many you can buy, maybe even having them behind the counter, even the age limit. But what I have a problem with is that they took my license typed in my address, date-of-birth, and my license number. In my book that is just waaaayyyy over the top. I have a fucking stuffy nose to get rid of and all I want is something that will work. I could go out and buy a bottle of whiskey with less trouble. All this because some crackhead thought it would be a good idea to make cold medicine into the new drug of choice. The government goes off the deep end (again, surprise surprise) and turns it into a nobody can have it because a few people chose to use it improperly. </rant> Current Mood: infuriated (4 Comments |Comment on this)

9:21 am	Home ownership Well I closed on my new house yesterday. I'm of a hope that I will not be moving again for many many years. I love it, Aly loves it and the kids love it. So it's all good. Going to begin moving in this weekend. Then after that I gotta move my mom and sis into the townhouse. Busy busy busy for the next month.
